Reverse Cycle Air Conditioning
Reverse-cycle air conditioning is the most energy-efficient way to heat and cool your home. By switching from gas ducted heating or old resistive electric heaters to a modern reverse-cycle system, you can cut your heating costs by more than half.
The VEU program provides significant rebates for eligible homes upgrading to approved reverse-cycle systems, servicing both residential lounges and whole-home ducted solutions.
Heat Pump Hot Water Systems
Hot water accounts for up to 25% of the average household's energy bill. A heat pump hot water system uses smart refrigerant technology to extract heat from the air, producing the same hot water as a traditional system for a fraction of the energy cost.
Under the VEU program, most Victorian homes can replace their ageing electric or gas storage systems with a premium heat pump unit at a reduced cost, subject to eligibility.
Solar Panels & Battery Storage
Victoria's sunshine is an asset, and a properly sized solar and battery system lets you use it fully. Generate your own clean power during the day, store the surplus in a battery, and draw from it at night to dramatically reduce or even eliminate your electricity bills.
